A kind, safe place to ask
How the Circle works · last reviewed Jun 2026
Not a substitute for medical advice

Sleep Circle is parents sharing experience, with answers reviewed by our resident sleep expert. It is general guidance only. If you are worried about your child’s health, breathing or development, speak to your GP or health visitor, or call NHS 111.

What we ask of you
Be kind
Every parent here is doing their best at 3am. Assume good intent and answer as you’d want to be answered.
Share experience, flag the serious stuff
Tell us what worked in your home. If something sounds like a health concern, say so and point to a professional.
Keep it real and specific
Concrete, specific advice helps more than slogans. What age, what setup, what actually changed?
No selling, no spam
This isn’t a place to advertise. Links to products or services will be removed.
On safe-sleep questions

Questions that touch on safe sleep, breathing, or a child’s health are reviewed by our expert before a verified answer is given, and we’ll always point you to professional help rather than rely on crowd advice. These trusted UK resources are a good first stop:

How we moderate

Every answer is read by a person before it appears — nothing goes live unreviewed. Our resident sleep expert verifies the answers we mark as verified. You can report any post; reports go to a moderator, and anything that looks unsafe is hidden while we check it. We remove spam, selling, and anything unkind. Your email is used only to let you know when you’re answered — we never publish it or sell it.
